On Friday I had the opportunity to meet with a music colleague to discuss curriculum questions and thoughts. Vertical team meeting today was centered around unpacking the common core and understanding how best to incorporate this into classroom practice. Many ideas were discussed including a mystery box where students have to make inferences based on the items they find in the box.
